For perfect calves you need high repetitions and a wide range of motion, the plate-loaded calf machine we designed takes these simple principles into account and offers a unique training experience.

We know that for the most demanding athletes the loading factor is important, therefore we chose the plate overload: there are practically no limits: every athlete can work with the perfect workload and the mechanism always allows the widest range of motion, moreover, the padding is comfortable, even with the heaviest weights and, like all the Clubline range, removable covers.

Technically, the calf is a region of the body, the typical protuberance for many athletes difficult to develop, is made up of three distinct muscles, each responsible for a specific movement: starting from the inside of the leg we find the posterior tibial muscle deep down then the soleus and more externally towards the surface, the gastrocnemius consists of two bands that are easily distinguishable even at sight: the medial twin and the lateral twin. Often, when we talk about calves, we really talk about "twins" as being the outermost muscles, they are the most visible and those on which the greatest attention is paid, especially in the bodybuilding field.

Precisely, due to the particular constitution of the calf area, to stimulate muscle growth in depth, the secret is to work by varying the training stimulus, this means varying the support angles of the feet and leg posture during the exercise, as well as obviously the wide range of motion and loading factor. Our Calf Machine allows you to manage all these parameters and if necessary, it is possible to work monolaterally, an incredibly useful situation not only in case of asymmetries, but also when it comes to doing rehabilitation exercises and post traumatic recovery.
