Lacertosus® Olympic plates dedicated to Powerlifting, perfect in all cases where an accurate weight and a little obstruction on the barbell are required. The Powerlifting Elite Plates mark a new milestone by introducing new finishes and unprecedented quality.
The Powerlifting Elite Plates' range is calibrated with tight weight tolerances, for each size, the color conforming to international IPF standards has been created in a hollow on the external part of the plate making these plates easily identifiable, even when loaded on the barbell.
The Powerlifting Elite Plates are entirely machined from billet chromium steel, which means having a surface quality, dimensional tolerances and weight above the industry standard. The manufacturing allows to make precise holes with rounded edges to facilitate loading operations on the barbell while maintaining an extremely precise coupling of the loading pin / plate hole.
The used first-quality chromium steel has excellent chemical-physical properties that make it durable over time; the stability of the chemical composition and the tight dimensional tolerances during the production phase guarantee an accurate weight.
The Powerlifting Plate Elite are made in standard sizes from PL: 1.25 - 2.5 - 5 - 10 - 15 - 20 - 25 Kg, as per IPF regulation, the 20kg and 25kg have an external diameter of 450mm. The whole range is compatible with Olympic barbells with 50mm loading diameter and with modular OB20 handlebars.
When the Powerlifting Elite Plates are used for exercises that involve ground contact, such as deadlifting, we recommend using them in combination with rubber floors with a minimum thickness of 20mm.
Powerlifting Elite Plates are perfect when combined with the OB86-EPL barbell, perfect for Powerlifting and the OCP-E collars.

The hollow on the outside of the plate (present from the 10kg format) makes it easier to grab when it it's placed on a flat surface, a situation all Powerlifters are familiar with!
The use of chromium steel and the absence of painted contact parts increase the longevity of the plates, preventing the paint from chipping and detaching with time.
