Dumbbells Gym & Home Gym
Not surprisingly, they are the symbol of physical training: there is nothing simpler and more immediate than the repeated lifting movement of a load with one arm to increase one's muscles. In fact, to obtain well-defined biceps and triceps, we have always relied on dumbbells, which are still inevitable today in professional gyms and in Home Gyms. Using them is not difficult and there are countless possible exercises one can do with these weights. Choosing the most suitable gym dumbbells for your purposes, however, is not as easy: there are in fact some factors to consider. There are mainly two large groups in which gym dumbbells are divided. On one hand there are the fixed dumbbells, and on the other we have modular dumbbells, that actually appear as small barbells. When to choose the first ones, and when to choose the second ones? The fixed-weight dumbbells, as their name suggests, are made up of a single piece, with no removable or replaceable parts: the handle and actual weight are therefore fused together. The advantages and disadvantages of these weights for the gym, that are ready for the immediate use, do not have to be assembled and in no case run the risk of seeing a plate fall; on the other hand, the weight of a fixed gym dumbbell obviously cannot be varied, thus forcing the athlete to use – and buy – from time to time a different dumbbell. The modular dumbbells, on the other hand, have the possibility of varying their weight by loading the knurled steel bar with plates of different types. These are absolutely customizable accessories: with just one pair of bars and with plates of different weight (as well as with the necessary ccollars) you can have everything you need to train your biceps and triceps properly. It is however a duty, every time, to disassemble and mount the desired plates, to adapt the instruments to the following exercise.
